22 - today I went to Jerusalem for the first time, and I've never fallen in love with a place so quickly. it was hard to choose just one photo to represent it, because there are so many sides to this city. all must make it a point to visit here
23 - we talked to Neve Ilan, a neighboring town, to buy some snacks at the small grocery store
24 - Nahal Yitlah / Hirbet Eres hike (aka death hike ;) hehe). we hiked down the valley from Yad Hashmona and then up a ginormous mountain. so worth it
25 - lady blessings in the land of Israel
26 - walking through the Arab shops in Old City Jerusalem on Shabbat
27 - spend the day in the New City. this is halvah, and it is allll over Israel. it is a flaky, dense dessert kind of thing, and I've never had anything like it. it is made out of ground sesame seeds and sugar and a million other possibilities

29 - my sweet Ryan, Steph, Nickie, and Mishaela all sent me to Israel with wonderfully encouraging notes. little pink hearts keep popping up EVERYWHERE!! haha it is so nice :) miss you all, thank you for loving meeee. excited to be reunited in May <3
